I was a research-focused Lecturer (equivalent to an Assistant Professor) in Finance at the Department of Economics and Finance, Brunel Business School, Brunel University of London. I joined Brunel from King's College London, where I worked as a visiting lecturer at King's Business School and a research fellow at the Qatar Centre for Global Banking and Finance. I also had research visits at Washington University at St. Louis and the London School of Economics and Political Science.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Finance and Economics (Computational Finance and Econometrics Tracks) from King's College London and an M.Sc. in Financial Economics from Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. My research in various Economics and Finance topics has been published in high-quality scholarly journals/transactions and conference proceedings in Economics and Finance (e.g., JIMF) and Computer Science (e.g., IJCAI, ACM SIGKDD, ACM CIKM, SIAM ICDM, PR). I also acted as an ad-hoc referee for finance and economics journals such as JIFMIM, etc., as well as computer science journals such as IEEE TKDE, ACM TKDD, PR, etc.. My research has been presented at Workshops of ECB, RCEA; Annual Congresses of EEA, Annual Meetings of ES, Annual Conferences of RES, SoFiE, IAAE, CFE, FoFI, BIS-CEPR-JIMF Joint Conference, AFFI-JBF Joint Conference, Seminar at Cubist Systematic Strategies of Point72 Asset Management, NeurIPS Workshop on Tackling Climate Change with Machine Learning, etc..
